Ironhack UI/UX Prework Challenge 1: Citymapper feature Coming from a city with an obsolete public transport system as Buffalo New York, and as a city that isnt supported by the Citymapper app, it forced me to look at this challenge differently than most. With Uber being the most utilised, popular and frankly known transport app amongst people I know (besides lyft) and GoogleMaps its mapping equivalent, it was interesting, and quite challenging to find individuals who had experiences needing or utilising all-in-one Citymapper-like apps, let alone interview. Fortunately for me, and the fact I have no shame, I quickly began reaching out to people no longer in my daily life, yet, were the few worldly travellers in my internet-orbit who DID have experience relying on public transport/mapping apps. Also just as fortunate for me, they were more than willing to articulate what they thought would make an app like Citymapper that much better of an experience, why? and most of all, what they felt was missing..
